Having served as the Director of Delaware Pacem in Terris for 27 years, Sally Milbury-Steen is about to retire. In this video she tells three true stories based on her own experience in Delaware. The stories convey an essence of peacemaking, she says. They show that peacemaking requires risk taking and courage, because "you never know what the outcome will be." Sally is confident that although one may not live to see the precise outcome one is seeking, in the long run one’s efforts are never in vain. They add to an accumulating energy in a positive direction. Peace with justice shall eventually come, and in the meantime peacemakers witness remarkable examples of individual human transformation.
