The Interfaith Youth Core (that’s Core, not Corps, because youth are the core of the interfaith movement) is declaring April 4th “Better Together Day,” and asking everyone to wear blue then. Why blue? Don’t know exactly, but it’s my favorite color!
The Interfaith Youth Core was founded by Eboo Patel, author of Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation. I love the IFYC’s method. Youth of many faiths organize service projects, work together, then talk about what the experience meant in light of their faith. IFYC has great interfaith leadership training events.
